20/02/2021   The Priory School - Update Message Term 4

Last term the school had as many children attending as our staffing and room sizes would allow. This term will begin with similar arrangements as we all await further announcements from the Government regarding current infection rates and whether these have reduced enough to allow for greater social mixing.

As always, the school appreciates your continued support with your child’s virtual learning. As a school we hope these arrangements will only end soon and, when it is safe to do so, welcome all pupils back for face to face education. Until then we look forward to seeing those families virtually at the start of next term.

Following forthcoming Government announcements, I will work swiftly to establish a plan and communicate this with you all when complete and appropriate. As always, I will aim to give you as much notice as possible.

Class teams will continue to conduct weekly safe and well checks with all families. Please do discuss any challenges you feel your child is facing and we will talk the situation though with you and explore options to help. If at any time you need to speak with a staff member please do contact main reception.

I hope that I will be able to write to you soon with more firm news about wider reopening.
