Ordering School Meals
At the start of this academic the Priory School will move to an online ordering and payment system for school meals. This will be completed through IRIS Parent Mail. Parents and carers should be familiar with this application as it has been utilised to distribute email correspondence during the summer term of last academic year.
Meals will be ordered a week in advance by completing a short form. You will order for the week in full and make payment at the time of selecting your meal options. Parents and carers of a child in receipt of free school meals will also order through IRIS Parent Mail and the final outstanding cost will be recorded as nil.
The new online system for ordering will go live the week beginning Monday 13th September 2021 for meals pupils will enjoy the week beginning Monday 20th September 2021.
Electronic Devices
Pupils’ mobile phones, iPads, MP3 players etc must be handed the class teacher or teaching assistant for safe keeping and collected at home time.
Wet Breaks
Pupils will remain in classrooms supervised by staff where snacks and drinks may be eaten. Every classroom will have games and activities for orderly indoor breaks.
End of Day arrangements
At the end of the school day the form tutors and teaching assistants will ensure all pupils are safely on their taxis. Once this is the case the designated staff instruct the drivers that it is safe to leave.
School Uniform
Pupils are expected to be in correct school uniform when attending school. We appreciate due to some pupils individualised needs that they may struggle to wear certain items of our uniform. Please contact the school should you have any queries. More information relating to the school's uniform can be found here.
Communication
Communication is essential for the smooth daily running of the school. Parents, carers and staff utilise the home school diaries to ensure messages and information are easily shared. Alternatively, you may wish to establish regular communication via telephone or email. All initial contact should be directed to the class team.
Illness
If your child is not well enough to attend school, please phone the school (01775 724080) and leave a message on Option 1. Please note that if a pupil is sick they should remain at home for 48 hours after the last time they were sick.
