Dinner Money
At Registration each day pupils are asked about their dinner choices from the menu and make advanced choices for the next day. School meals can be paid for daily (£2.50) or weekly (£12.50), by cash or cheque (made payable to The Priory School) and monies should be handed in to the Form Tutor at Registration. Any money brought into school should be placed in an envelope with the pupil's name clearly stating what the money is for.
Electronic Devices
Pupils’ mobile phones, iPads, MP3 players etc must be handed into the office for safe keeping and collected at home time.
Wet Breaks
Pupils will remain in classrooms supervised by staff where snacks and drinks may be eaten. Every classroom will have games and activities for orderly indoor breaks.
Tutor Time
Tutor times involve choosing reading books to go home, checking reading records and updating IEP targets.
End of Day arrangements
At the end of the school day the duty team ensures all pupils are safely on their taxis. Once this is the case the designated staff instruct the drivers that it is safe to leave.
School Uniform
Pupils are expected to be in correct school uniform with no trainers. If a pupil has a problem with uniform please contact the Form Tutor. Our uniform supplier is School Trends.
Communication
Communication is essential for the smooth daily running of the school. Parents and staff utilise the home school diaries to ensure messages and information are easily shared.
Illness
If your child is not well enough to attend school, please phone the school (01775 724080) and leave a message on Option 1. Please note that if a pupil is sick they should remain at home for 48 hours after the last time they were sick.
